ATPI announces 2018’s Rising Stars

Leading travel and events management company ATPI UK has announced this year’s cohort of Rising Stars, continuing the success from the inaugural Rising Stars programme in 2017. ATPI UK established this concept to help facilitate the development, awareness, and expertise of employees within the business through mentoring and exposure to the wider global business and its functions.

Kicking off the programme, the Rising Stars of 2018 recently met with their appointed ATPI mentors to discuss their aspirations for the year ahead and to agree on the range of exposure the candidate will receive across all areas of the business. Tailored to each individual’s interests and personal career goals, the year-long initiative will help develop skills in each of the following departments:

• Sales and Marketing
• Supplier Relations
• Operations
• Finance
• Account Management
• Specialist Services

Following this year’s competitive application process, which saw more entrants than last year, the ATPI UK Executive Team selected six people to participate, based on the highest overall scores.

ATPI’s 2018 Rising Stars include:

●      Fiona Dockerty, Senior Business Travel Consultant

●      Jodie Sparrey, Senior Business Travel Consultant

●      Gary Mitchell, VIP Travel Executive

●      Lorraine Bryce, Operations Project Manager

●      Ricky Aldred, Global Account Manager

●      Camilla Tuzemen, e-Commerce Executive

The Rising Stars have been carefully paired with mentors who will regularly advise, monitor, and evaluate their progress at all stages to ensure that the objectives set are reviewed and met, based on insight gained from experience in various roles and divisions across ATPI.

This year’s mentors are as follows:

●      Karen Abbott, Head of Global Corporate Account Management, UK

●      Jenny Thornton - Group Head of e-Commerce

●      Claire Harrington - Head of UK & Group Marketing Communications

●      Dean Mitchell – Supplier Relations

●      Claire Davidge – Head of Account Management, UK South

●      Helen Gordon – General Manager, Scotland

●      Adele Matthews – Head of Sports Events, UK
