Misano: Our Motorsport Expertise in Action

At our home Grand Prix in Misano, we welcomed guests to see first-hand how our ATPI Motorsport Travel team works.

The objective

The weekend brought together Business Travel and Motorsport Travel, giving guests an introduction to Direct Travel’s wider expertise before taking them into the environment where our Motorsport Travel team operates.

Motorsport follows a demanding calendar, taking teams and professionals from one destination to the next. Every race weekend requires careful coordination, precise planning and the ability to respond quickly when plans change. Misano offered the opportunity to show what this means in practice.

Saturday

The weekend began with a presentation of Direct Travel as a whole, held in the beautiful setting of Castello di Granarola. We introduced our expertise, how we work, and how we support our clients, providing a broader understanding of our organisation and setting the scene for the following day at the circuit.

Sunday

On Sunday, guests joined us inside the MotoGP paddock, where ATPI Motorsport Travel operates from its mobile office. Here, they experienced the pace of a race weekend and gained a closer look at the setting in which our team works, with travel arrangements shaped by the demands of the championship.

The experience also included visits to Brembo and Dainese’s paddock facilities, two names synonymous with Italian excellence in motorsport. Shortly before the race, guests also visited the Pertamina Enduro VR46 team’s garage, experiencing the intensity of MotoGP preparations up close. The day continued in the hospitality area in the center of the circuit, where guests watched the MotoGP race.

Making our expertise visible

The weekend combined an introduction to Direct Travel with a first-hand look at our Motorsport Travel operations from within the paddock. More than a presentation, it was an opportunity to demonstrate how we work behind the scenes, delivering seamless travel solutions in a fast-paced environment where precision, flexibility and organization are essential.
