Another talented leader from the global travel management and events company, ATPI, is celebrating joining the prestigious GBTA Ladders programme. Over the years, the GBTA Ladders committee has helped to shape the travel industry, and ATPI employees being part of such a committee will help the TMC stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving business travel industry.
Sam Dyson, Head of UK Corporate Account Management at ATPI is the 3rd ATPI champion to be selected for the programme in the last 12 months. The mentorship will allow her to deepen industry connections, enhance trade knowledge, and further build her business travel management acumen.
Sam Dyson said: “I am honoured to become a mentee with GBTA Ladders. I’ve been with the business for almost 10 years, but I never want to stop learning and developing. I am so excited to begin my journey as a mentee and help to shape the industry for the next generation. I know that I will benefit hugely from the collaboration with my peers, and as a leader, I also have the opportunity to enrich and support my team and clients with the new learnings I will gain, so that makes it all the more special!
GBTA Ladders is a unique global team mentor programme through which members can expand their professional development within the travel and meetings industry. The committee is led by accomplished and successful executives from buyer and supplier backgrounds alike, who guide talented mentors and mentees from the corporate travel community. GBTA members serve on committees on a voluntary basis and work to advise GBTA leadership and members on the latest trends, developments and best practices that fall under a committee’s jurisdiction. ATPI’s Julian Mills has served as GBTA Ladders mentor since 2018 and commented:
‘It’s a proud moment to see another member of the ATPI team join the programme. I am very excited for Sam to begin this journey of enrichment as a mentee, and watch as she flourishes under the expert guidance of the mentors. I know that she will be a fantastic addition to GBTA Ladders, and a great ambassador for ATPI out in the industry.’
