ATPI, a global leader in travel and events management, has announced a series of senior appointments designed to bolster its leadership in the energy sector and accelerate its expansion across the Americas.

Empowering Global Energy Strategy

As part of its strategic commitment to the energy sector, ATPI has appointed Zara Higgins as the new Head of Energy. Zara brings over 14 years of experience in travel management with a strong track record in streamlining operations for energy clients, optimising crew logistics, and implementing scalable travel solutions. Her appointment reflects ATPI’s ambition to extend its energy sector success in the UK to global markets.

“I am privileged to be taking on the role of Head of Energy at such an exciting time,” said Zara. “ATPI understands the complexities of travel in this sector. With our extensive expertise and a deep understanding of the industry’s evolving needs, we’re in a great position to support both traditional and renewable energy operators worldwide.”

Evolving Leadership in the Americas

In support of continued growth across the US and the broader Americas region, Ettienne de Swardt has been named Managing Director, USA, succeeding Judy ‘JP’ Peplinski, who will take on a new global role. Ettienne, who previously served as Senior Director of Sales & Account Management for North America, brings over 30 years of experience in travel logistics across the US, UK, and South Africa. His operational expertise and commitment to client success have been instrumental in ATPI’s regional development.

JP transitions to the newly created position of Head of Global Strategy, Energy Division, where she will lead ATPI’s global approach to supporting energy clients. With a deep understanding of the industry and long-standing client relationships, JP is uniquely positioned to drive strategic alignment and innovation across ATPI’s energy operations.

A Unified Vision for Growth

Together, Zara, JP, and Ettienne bring over 80 years of combined experience to their new roles. This leadership alignment not only strengthens ATPI’s core sectors—energy, marine, and mining—but also enhances its ability to provide tailored, technologically advanced travel solutions that meet the unique demands of these industries.

Commenting on the appointments, Ian Sinderson, CEO of ATPI, said:
“Zara, JP, and Ettienne embody the values and vision of ATPI. Their collaborative leadership and global expertise place us in a strong position to continue delivering exceptional value to our clients across all markets.”

These strategic changes signal a new era for ATPI, as the company continues to invest in leadership, technology, and service excellence to support its clients worldwide.
