ATPI triumphed at the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) Sparkle Awards, picking up two individual awards.
Charlie Downer, Senior Business Travel Consultant, and Stuart Clark, Account Management Support, won the Business Consultant of the Year and Rising Star awards at the Edinburgh ceremony on Friday. Both Charlie and Stuart are based in ATPI’s Scotland headquarters in Aberdeen – one of four ATPI offices in the UK.
Vastly experienced in corporate travel management, Charlie’s career has seen him work closely with international businesses to provide vital support for work-related travel requirements. With a specific focus on supporting ATPI’s Energy & Marine service lines, Charlie’s work has been integral to securing ATPI’s position as the global partner to the energy industry.
Rising Star winner Stuart has quickly climbed the ranks at ATPI since joining the TMC as a Business Travel Consultant two years ago. Benefiting from ATPI’s commitment to learning and development, Stuart’s growth has seen him become an integral part of ATPI’s Scotland team where he is helping to target growth plans via client support and retention. This award recognises his impact since joining while helping raise his individual profile.
Additionally, ATPI Key Account Manager Sarah Corrie was nominated for the Account Manager of the Year award.
Zara Higgins, ATPI’s Country Manager Scotland – Energy Travel, commented: “These award wins and nominations are wholeheartedly deserved. We have an incredible team, not just in Scotland but Globally, and we make sure that this is recognised at every opportunity. The SPAA Sparkle Awards are significant in our industry, and it is amazing that our team’s hard work and dedication have been awarded. Charlie, Stuart, and Sarah go above and beyond every day, truly delivering what matters to our clients, and we are fortunate to have them represent ATPI and our values.”
The Sparkle Awards pay tribute to the outstanding contributions of frontline agents in Scotland. Hosted by SPAA, the membership body for Scotland’s major travel agents, the awards were held at The Caledonian in Edinburgh on September 6.
