More efficient cookstoves improve health and reduce emissions.

  • The project manufactures and distributes efficient charcoal cookstoves, enabling rural families across Nigeria to cook using cleaner fuel.
  • The cookstoves are more efficient, helping to slow forest degradation, lower emissions and lead to better community health.
  • Made in Africa, the stoves are distributed across all 36 states in Nigeria, benefitting some 160,000 households with cleaner air.
  • The Improved Cooking Practices Programme, is a fully certified and independently monitored programme. This project is also CORSIA (Carbon Offset & Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) eligible.
