New Singapore managing director named for ATPI

Global travel and events management business, the ATPI Group, has appointed Kelly Jones as managing director of its operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Jones takes up the role from 1 January 2019 following the retirement of Diana Fox.

As ATPI’s director of sales and account management for Asia Pacific since 2013, Jones has a strong track record of delivering exceptional client results with retention and business expansion. This has included working as part of the Asia Pacific management team to ensure successful service operations for ATPI’s diverse client portfolio in the region. Jones will report to Ali Hussain, based in Singapore, who has expanded his role as Chief Innovation & Technology Officer with the responsibilities of Regional Managing Director for Asia.

Jones replaces Diana Fox, who was ATPI’s managing director in the region from 2016 and retired at the end of 2018. She will remain working as a consultant to the ATPI business in Asia until June 2019.

Andrew Waller, CEO, ATPI, comments:

“I’m excited to see Kelly’s passion and commitment continue to drive our successful teams forward into 2019 and beyond. I’d like to thank Diana Fox for her invaluable contribution to our business during her tenure as managing director, overseeing some of the most complex travel management requirements in the industry, particularly across our specialist marine and energy division ATPI Griffinstone. The entire ATPI family wishes Diana a happy retirement.”
