ATPI announces appointment of Kathy Larkan as Head of Commercial Operations in Australia

Leading global travel and event management business ATPI today announces an addition to its management team in Australia.

Travel management expert Kathy Larkan joins with immediate effect as head of commercial operations, Australia. Based in ATPI’s Australian head office in Melbourne, she will be responsible for delivering first class operational processes with a strong strategic focus on maintaining excellent customer service levels within the operations teams.   

Bringing a wealth of experience, Larkan has worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years in senior account management and operational roles for a number of leading travel management companies. Most recently she was regional manager of sales and account management at QBT Travel.

Larkan will work alongside Matt Grainger, head of commercial strategy who will continue to lead the sales team, to deliver a stronger focus on client engagement.

As part of the team enhancements, Lesley Owen has been appointed as director of supplier relations, Asia-Pacific. This newly created role has responsibility for the strategic approach and delivery of air fares, accommodation, car hire and content optimal distribution across the region.
