ICT System Support engineer - Aberdeen and Manchester

The ATPI Group (www.atpi.com) delivers world-leading corporate travel and events solutions to organisations operating in a variety of specialist sectors around the world. For the Global IT team we are looking for two new colleagues to join our IT team as ICT System Support engineer in the UK (one for our location Aberdeen and one for our location in Manchester). 

You will be part of our Global IT team that is making use of the latest technology to communicate and act as a global IT team who is supporting our users across 23 countries & 45 offices. We are doing this from different locations and one of those locations is the UK. In the UK we have 4 offices located in London, Lowestoft, Manchester and Aberdeen. For our Manchester and Aberdeen offices we are looking for two local ICT System Support engineers (for each office 1 person). They will strengthen our UK IT team where we already have colleagues working from our London and Lowestoft offices. As an ICT System Support engineer you will be committed to support our business and will focus on providing an excellent level of IT delivery for our end users.

Job Purpose

•    Make the end-user happy and ensure they can work without disruptions. 
•    Pick up any reported concern/issue with focus and priority to prevent further escalation and deterioration. 
•    IT Helpdesk tickets are monitored and closed within SLA 
•    Install, configure and troubleshoot various IT components in line with agreed standards and workflows 
•    Managing users accounts and their setup (includes MACD; move, add, change & delete) within an environment based on mixture of users working on their local laptops/desktops and users who are working on virtual desktop solution (we are utilising Citrix Cloud with computing power from Microsoft Azure infrastructure supported by Microsoft Intune for our end-points. We are using Microsoft Office365-suite (including Exchange & SharePoint Online)
•    Add, Remove and update IT Assets in our assets register database when needed
•    Support the Starter & Leaver process: Help new starters being onboarded in relation to IT (equipment and access to systems), administrator and collect equipment from staff who are leaving
•    Maintaining the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and apply software security patches and upgrades

•    Participate in Global IT meetings and continue to communicate with the rest of your IT colleagues to ensure you gain knowledge and share your knowledge with other colleagues. 
•    Day-to-day contact with the end user with the first focus on user in your own region but also provide support to users in other regions as well if needed. 
•    Making effective use of our helpdesk tools and monitoring tools.
•    Add ideas and improvement to existing documentation & configuration procedures
•    Keep a healthy balance between work and private life
•    Contribute positively to the IT Team and the rest of the organisation

•    Desirable qualifications/certifications (preference): Microsoft Azure modules, Office 365 administration certification, Microsoft Intune, Citrix Cloud user management, FortiGate (firewalls)
