Superyacht Crew Change Travel in Focus at Palm Beach
The ATPI team is getting ready to visit the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) this March. A calendar highlight for yachting enthusiasts and industry professionals, PBIBS features an impressive lineup of over 1,000 boats, including more than 200 superyachts, with 40+ vessels exceeding 150 feet in length.
These incredible yachts will be based at the Superyacht Show at Palm Harbor Marina, a dedicated area of PBIBS, where ‘luxury meets innovation’. It’s here where Lee Harris, Marine Travel Manager, and Gerrie Labuschagne, Business Development Manager from ATPI Yacht Travel, will be spending most of their time meeting owners and skippers to ensure their superyacht crew change travel needs are being met.
Lee, who is based in the UK, has dedicated the past 25 years to the marine and yacht crew travel management industry, including spending six years in New Zealand. Gerrie, a South African and professional rugby player now based in Texas, is a little newer to the industry. He joined ATPI Yacht Travel in August 2024, and much like Lee, he is well-traveled, having spent time living and playing rugby in Japan.
Both Lee and Gerrie will be around the marina at the Superyacht Show and will be happy to answer any questions about optimizing yacht crew changes if you see them, whether for crews working milk run charters, or expedition yachts in Antarctica.
Of course, if any ship owner, captain, skipper, crew manager, or yacht operator has specific questions or would like to discuss yacht crew change travel needs in depth, Lee and Gerrie would be happy to arrange a meeting in advance.
