ATPI Sports Events named Official Travel Partner for Invictus Games Sydney 2018
It’s ‘Game On Down Under’ as 500 competitors and 1,000 members of their family and friends head to Sydney for the fourth Invictus Games this October. The leading travel and events management company for the global sports industry, ATPI Sports Events – part of the ATPI Group – has been confirmed as the Official Travel Partner for the international sporting event, which celebrates the unconquered spirit of our wounded, injured and ill defence personnel and veterans.
Taking place 20-27 October 2018, the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 presented by Jaguar Land Rover will include 11 medal sports with events taking place across Greater Sydney, including the Harbour and Sydney Olympic Park.
Founded by HRH The Duke of Sussex in 2014, the Invictus Games use the healing power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and ill active service members and veterans.
Additionally, the Invictus Games have a focus on the wider support network of competitors and the important role of family and friends in the recovery process. ATPI Sports Events is expected to handle the travel arrangements for up to 1,000 family members and friends coming to cheer on their loved ones.
