We are looking for a Product Marketing Communications Executive to join the Group Marketing team to support the global introduction, positioning and promotion of our proprietary and 3rd party products. In this role, you will be working together with local marketing teams and product managers to  create internal and external awareness of our client technology portfolio, stimulate client product adoption and drive maximum usage.  You will be responsible for developing product go to market plans, campaigns, product collateral and training materials.

Over time you will gain deep understanding of a number of the Group’s products targeting both travel managers, bookers and end travellers.  We are on the search for a competent all-round marketing professional, who combines affinity and knowledge around travel technology with initiative and creativity to bring our product marketing to the next level. You will work across all divisions and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Reports to: Director of Group Marketing Communications

Responsibilities include:

  • To help create and revise product go to market plans with product managers based on client needs and business objectives, plus co-ordinate with the product management and commercial teams to ensure the right (sector related) messages
  • To fully integrate with the product teams to develop an understanding of the overall technology portfolio, and crucially understand how to convert the USP’s and differentiators into product stories
  • To have an understanding of user personas and how to target them and create ‘product stickiness’
  • To understand the customer journey and how our products and technology impacts them
  • To understand product marketing requirements for new and existing products, including market priorities, help set KPIs and measure results
  • Help optimise Dynamics 365 and Hubspot for systematically planned product campaigns
  • Create brand and tactical campaigns around ATPI’s product portfolio
  • Develop product documentation and sales material including specification sheets, sell sheets, user guides
  • Use the full marketing mix (including PR, social media and content marketing) to maximise visibility and promotion of products targeted at clients and prospects
  • Measure and report effectiveness on marketing activity
  • Be the product marketing lead involved in client events and trade shows
  • Work with the sales and account management teams on data capture around products and technology – particularly on the end user
  • Work with the Group Content Manager and the external PR agency to deliver product related content which can be used across all marketing channels, such as client stories, testimonials, how-to-documents and white papers
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure all web content is relevant and up to date, social activity, PPC and webinars are used as appropriate, measured and tracked ongoing
  • Help develop Academy training courses and training material

 

Candidate requirements include:

  • Marketing, Business or Communications degree and/or a minimum of two years on the job marketing communications experience
  • Experience with digital marketing is an absolute need
  • Marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in travel or technology.
  • Familiarity with travel technology and tools
  • Ability to convert complex product features and client needs into simple, powerful stories
  • Experience in managing projects which include multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, preferably native English. Someone who can make conversation with and build a relationship with anyone, anywhere
  • Excellent visual communications skills, ability to translate a technical concept in a few images
  • Good time management and ability to manage own priorities
  • Attention to detail, self-organiser
  • Highly motivated, with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude
