Project Executive, Business Travel - UK

Role Purpose:

To provide a Groups & business travel service for all or any of our client accounts in compliance with company procedures.
Taking complete ownership for the creation and execution of group bookings working with the Operational teams.

Key Outcomes:

  • To Handle individual Travel and Accommodation
  • Work within a GDS to create proposals and issue tickets 
  • Calculate and deliver travel fares and itinerary options based on the client’s needs
  • Produce all travel costing’s accurately and within times frames, comply with company & client invoicing processes 
  • Proactively escalate delivery issues through notification of management to ensure continuous improvement of meeting processes, procedures and tools 
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas relating to spelling, grammar and punctuation 
  • Show ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
  • Ensure client feedback is seen as an opportunity to improve. Creatively resolve all disputes in a timely and effective manner involving others where appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with all inter departmental teams
  • Show ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills 
  • Understand, apply and promote the company’s values at all times 
  • Other duties as required 

Key Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to think logically and consider all relevant aspects
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Accuracy and ability to follow instructions
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including intermediate Excel 
  • Proficient knowledge of airline fares/ticketing, airline products, services, routes and networks
  • BAI & BAII or equivalent 
  • Flexible to changing business needs 
  • Minimum 2 years Business Travel or Group flights experience
  • Working within a TMC on an events department an advantage
