ATP WELCOMES NEW RUSSIAN PARTNER
Travel management company ATP International has welcomed the appointment of Nicko Travel Group as the GlobalStar partner in Russia. ATP is a key member of GlobalStar Travel Management, a worldwide joint-venture partnership of leading travel management companies.

Founded in 1991, Nicko Travel Group operates eight office locations and ten implants throughout Russia with sales of over $60 million. Increasing demand for travel management services in Russia from GlobalStar clients led to the appointment of the group, one of the leading travel management companies in the country.

Located in over 50 countries around the world, GlobalStar enables its members to implement travel programmes that manage their clients' worldwide travel requirements. The global partnership provides clients with innovative technology, integrated information systems and local expertise with a clear commitment to high standards in service excellence and cost savings.

Earlier this year, ATP launched two new products developed in conjunction with its GlobalStar partners. FareStar gives clients to access the best deals from around the world with a global fares database that allows users to take full advantage of locally negotiated airfares from all of the partners. This technology gives access to the best pricing structures for travel products worldwide by automatically searching airfares from various sources including private fare databases and all major GDS.

The second new product, ProfileStar, allows travellers to enter and amend their travel profile 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world. ProfileStar automatically up-dates any of the four major GDS as well as integrated online booking tools, saving time and improving accuracy.
