UNITED KINGDOM, 05 December 2012 - Leading business travel and events company, the ATPI Group, showed its support to long-standing charity partner Lymington Sailability at a ceremonial reception attended by the charity's Patron, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to name a new safety boat donated by the business.

Held at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club, 120 supporters, volunteers, donors and representatives from the local community joined The Princess in naming the charity's two new boats. The new safety boat – ‘Bertie' – is funded by a £10,000 donation from the ATPI Group.

The ATPI Group has supported the Lymington Sailability charity since 2008 with fundraising and practical assistance over the past five years.

ATPI Group CEO Graham Ramsey commented;

"The ATPI Group operates world-leading corporate travel and events businesses including with specialisms in the marine and offshore sectors. Our connection to sailing is both throughout our business, and in our charitable efforts, and we're proud to support an organisation that makes getting out onto the water accessible to everyone. We hope that this great work of Lymington Sailability continues to provide fun and valuable days out for many years to come."

The ATPI Group's generosity has been acknowledged by Lymington Sailability chairman Aly Gunn who said;

"ATPI has shown forward thinking and a long term commitment to the charity. The addition of a new safety boat means that we can support more people learning to sail with reliable equipment. Huge thanks to ATPI from all at Lymington Sailability, and from everyone who will enjoy access to the outdoors due to the assistance of Bertie."

Lymington Sailability has been operating as an independent charity providing accessible and fun sailing facilities to people with disabilities for over ten years, expanding each year through donations and the time of volunteer workers.
