  • Instone International focuses on becoming a 'service provider' to the marine and offshore industries through significant ongoing investment in people and technological solutions.

  • Global expansion accelerated to meet ever-increasing customer growth.

1980's

  • Working with government bodies and large corporations, Instone extends its expertise in disaster recovery around the world. Instone creates first outsourced airline servicing operation for the marine and offshore industries.

1970's

  • Instone embarks on global expansion, opening new offices in Singapore and Houston, as airlines introduce specific fares for the marine industry. It also arranges the first ever charter of a Boeing 747 - New York to Paris.

1960's

  • Expands its aircraft brokering operation to cater for many of the world's leading airlines.

1950's

  • Instone organises first inclusive holidays to the Mediterranean.

1940's

  • Instone reformed as an aircraft charter broker attracting several marine companies to its growing customer base.

1920's

  • Amalgamated into Imperial Airways, forerunner of British Airways

1919

  • Instone Airlines formed, operating services to the continent.

  • The Instone family become ship owners.
