Several new partners have joined the ATPI network over the last six months.
Business Travel Turism (BTT) has joined the ATPI Network as our partner in Romania. BTT was established in 1992 as the official representative for KLM in Romania and in 2001 went on as a fully independent TMC. BTT employs 65 staff working from their Bucharest office and are in the top 5 of TMC’s in Romania, both in Corporate Travel and in Events. BTT is currently servicing our ATPI client Weatherford in Romania and we expect to find many more mutual opportunities in both our customer databases.
In New Zealand we have signed a partnership agreement with Fortis Travel. The Fortis staff of 11 employees provides a variety of services in corporate, group and leisure travel from their office in Auckland. They are presently handling ATPI’s customers like Pacific Brands and Petrofac. Recently the Fortis Travel team has played a key role in winning the multi-national tender from Aurecon which resulted in retaining the business in Australia and adding business in 8 other countries including New Zealand.
Our presence in Asia is expanding with the addition of Shirazi Travel in Pakistan. Shirazi Travel PVT. LTD. has been in business for close to 40 years and is a full service travel management company with a focus on business travel and business related events, meetings and congresses. Pakistan is the 6th most populous country in the world but at the same time a country at the center of a region that is full of political and military tension. It is good to have a stable partner in this area that has proven their worth over several decades.
