The airspace over the Netherlands is expected to close at 15.00 hrs due to a prevailing wind speed of 8 over the Netherlands and the neighbouring countries. This was announced by Schiphol and Eurocontrol.
Air traffic will gradually be reduced to zero in the hours ahead. It is not yet known at present how long Dutch air space will be closed.
